EMPTY HOUSES selected for LIM²

Empty Houses (WT) has been selected for the LIM² 2026 online training programme, which supports the early development of fiction feature films. The author and director, Daniel Guliyev, will participate in the programme.
Empty Houses is co-produced by Doghouse Filmproductions.
SOVIET WESTERN receives script funding 20/02/2026
Doghouse Filmproductions has been awarded script development funding from Hessen Film & Medien for the feature film project SOVIET WESTERN (WT).
The project is written and produced by Samaya Hillenbrand and Thomas Hillenbrand.
SOVIET WESTERN is developed within TorinoFilmLab - NEXT Green Narratives programme 2025.
Empty Houses receives development funding 25/02/2025
Doghouse Filmproductions has been awarded development funding from Hessen Film & Medien for the feature film project EMPTY HOUSES (WT), the debut feature by Daniel Guliyev.
The project is produced by Irada Baghirzade at Adari Films (Azerbaijan), with Samaya Hillenbrand joining as the German co-producer.
Special Prize from TorinoFilmLab
Our producer, Samaya Hillenbrand, was awarded a Special Prize at the TorinoFilmLab during the East&West Inspirational Lab at When East Meets West in Trieste, Italy. The prize includes a scholarship and a spot in the TFL Next Workshop for our upcoming feature project.
